This has always been my favorite place for sushi, until last night. When asked for soap for the bathroom THREE times, we were finally told "bad guys stole the soap"!!! Is anyone washing their hands before they serve or prepare my food??? brooklyn 4/5/2011 Tomo Bestever I like Tomo, bestever, best sushi, best hibachi!!!! cleveland 1/20/2011 AWESOME You must go to Tomo! The chefs are funny and awesome. They make great food like hibachi steak. I like it because they cook it right there in front of you and it is never boring. GO TO TOMO! Sarah B from strongsville 9/3/2010 Good Stuff I was very pleased with the experience I had at Tomo. The food was very good, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The chef's are very funny, entertaining and skilled. I highly recommend this restaurant. I love Japanese food and this place is the bomb. I've heard their sushi is very good too. I haven't tried it yet. Jessi B 2/22/2010 Tomo Tomo is the best shushi and habachi. Much better food and prices than Shinto. They use the freshest ingredients and the sushi is made right in front of you. Consistently the best. The server and chefs are very friendly and certainly remember you if you have been there before. There is also cooked sushi for those that do not eat raw fish. Anonymous 12/5/2008 Tomo Is good I found the sushi to be fantastic, they have quite a large selection to choose from. The inside is very clean and very mordern. Only downside is that we had to wait quite awhile to get our food. It could have been a one time thing but it took them about an hour to bring ALL of us our food, 3 people ordering 3 rolls each and they were not very busy. But, after all I have to say, the good was really good and I will try them again and hope they had an off night. North Royalton 8/11/2008 Best Sushi on Westside Simply the best sushi on the Westside (although Ohashi in North Olmsted may be tied for the lead). Not as sleek as Shinto, but the sushi is far, far, FAR better. Rolls and nigiri are fantastic and fairly (for sushi) priced. Also complete with a large sake collection, Tomo usually has pretty quick service (and always friendly) and the food just can't be beat. Plus, all-you-can eat Sundays and Mondays are a great deal - three choices basically pays for the meal, so you're set. I've been to Japan, and along with Ohashi, this is the best I've been to on the Westside. For great sushi at a fair price in an unpretentious and casual atmosphere, this is the place. Parma 2/25/2007 Tomo for your next evening out! The old Ground Round is unrecognizable on the inside! What a great job was done redesigning the decor. Tomo is my new favorite sushi stop. The service is always fast and friendly even if you just pick up dinner. Sushi selection is second to none and is fresh and mouth-watering. If you want dinner and a show (the hibachi chefs) this is your place! Strongsville 6/8/2005 Post your own review of this venuePlease take a look at our guidelines for help and our disclaimer.
