SADDLE RIDGE HAS BEEN GOING DOWN HILL FOR SOME TIME. IT IS NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE. AND I HAVE SEEN SO MANY FIGHTS IN THE CLUB ON THURSDAY NIGHT. KNOW THE PEOPLE THAT ALWAYS WAS INVOLVED BUT USUALLY NOT MORE THEN ONE EVERY THURSDAY. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS AMAZINGLY FUN. JENHA from CLEVELAND 3/10/2010 Its aight, sometimes is gd Saddle used to be mad fun but the spanish songs decreased. Anyways the place is koo wish it was like before like back in the begining of 2009. Sometimes a gd nite depends on the DJ. Lorain 3/4/2010 Liars and Cheats I had to post this here because they don't have an active E-mail account to complain to... I attended the Costume contest tonight (Thursday, 10/29/09) and was beyond disappointed. Regardless of there being a fight and thus "their plans had to change for the contest", they advertised a slew of prizes for various costumes, but only gave out $125 in prizes for Sexiest School Girl and Most Original. I was a "finalist" for Scariest Costume and when it came time to receive my prize, I was told (by Jose "the pirate") that due to "things happening", they had to cut some things out. Not only am I upset, but a boat load of others that came in costume feel slighted and are extremely upset. I spent over 4 hours and quite a bit of money in that bar tonight with my friends, only to be severely disappointed in how the night went. To me and many others that were there tonight, this was a severe case of gross-false advertisement. They have lost a customer for life and now they will no longer see any of my friends or any of their friends in that piece of shit establishment ever again. I just hope that someone that works there sees this and tells the management how truly disappointing their bar is. Nice fight though, it was truly the highlight of the night. Lol the ghettoness doesn't bother me too much since I'm from Lorain. Good music. They need to serve food there, not sure if they do or not but if they don't, they should. CAUSE I DONT THINK THEY WOULD PUT UP WITH ANY KIND OF CRAP (IM A SINGLE WOMAN AND I ALWAYS FEEL SAFE THERE!!!!!)THERE PRICES R AVERAGE THERES,POOL GAMES,LOTS OF SEATING!!!! cieveland 9/15/2009 Whatever I have been there on thursday nights (college id night) and on Friday nights( country) and I must say there is a different crowd for each night, Thursday nights is mostly hip-hop with a splash of top 40. and It is 18 and over. So there you have a young mostly gangsta wannabe type crowd, and there is from which the fights i have seen there stem, the fights have even went out into the parking lot and turned into an all out brawl, i have seen people get hit by cars trying to flle before the cops got there.. mind you that only happened once while i was there, but it did happen. And there is probably at least one fight a month on thursday nights.. unfortunately that is the kind of music i like! Friday night they play country, and it is a much better atmosphere! Bell bottomes isnt a bad spot 70' and 80's music for the most part, but not bad. I have yet to see a fight on a country night! And I am not sure as to the Age restrictions on Fridays and Saturdays but there was a cover when i got there on both days, but it was only like 3 bucks.. And the drinks are kinda high, but everywhere is raising their prices now... I have seen a dive bar charging 3 bucks for a beer so i mean its gonna be expected!!! Cleveland 11/26/2008 The truth Great club, no cover until 11 pm most nights. Great concerts, special events. Reasonable prices, beer starts at $1 and goes up. The only time cover was $5 is when Girls gone wild was there and it was well worth it. This is the best club in the area by far. Don't listen to some butt head that probably got kicked out for being stupid. Anonymous 11/13/2008 This place stinks The place always has a cover even when nothing is going on and its dead (and thats alot of the time)! Its been $5.00 many times that I have been there. The beers are over priced as well. Never saw a fight but then again the place is so huge and doesnt really fill up so its hard for people to get close enough to each other to fight. Its 18 an over alot so that sucks if your over 21 and dont want to deal with a bunch of children who sneak and drink anyway. I have given alot of tries in hopes that it was just a bad night but nope its like that all the time. Berea 9/18/2008 This place rocks! I go there every friday and i went one thursday and i for one have not seen one fight the entire time i was there! The bull is fun to ride! Im going there tomorrow and i havent had a cover charge since i been going. So yeah you shoukd take your family and friends there its a good place! the music is great to. Cleveland 10/11/2007 The Facts I work at Saddle Ridge every Friday and Saturday night bar backing. There are a few rumors to square away. There is a cover sometimes that is never more than $3 dollars, which includes admission to two bars Saddle Ridge and the connected bar Bell Bottoms. As far as fights? Haven't seen one yet! As well as there being plenty of professional bouncers there is also a full time police officer on duty. Which hinders trouble greatly. There will always be a mix of people no matter what bar or club you go to. Be glad the owner of Saddle Ridge takes the time and effort to ensure a safe fun night for everyone. IT IS NOT FREE!!! they started cover while they continued to advertize they were a no cover bar. IT IS TRUELY A HILLYBILLY HANG-OUT. Cleveland 8/30/2007 Review of Reviews I have read the two review post about The Saddle Ridge, I can only say that this information is not ture facts, I travel there weekly from Akron,the Getto hillbilly's, statememt is not correct the cover charge has been $2.00-$3.00 per person. the liquior was reasonably priced. The clown from Seven hills claims there were five fights in on night is totally out of line I haven't seen over two fights since the Saddle Ridge opened last year. I have been going there with faimly and friends each and everyweek. Why don't people be honest! or don't say anything, (must be a trick of the trade). I highly recommand you take your family and friends there enjoy and have fun, take a ride on the bull!!!!!!!!!!!! And I heard the cover has gone up to $9 since I was there 2 months ago. Second: Drinks are TOO overpriced. Third: The clientele SUCKS! It is ghetto meets hillbilly. Country bars are great but this one is not anywhere up in the ranks! I am suprised they don't charge for parking too!
