Let me first start off by telling you that at first the place seemed okay. As the night progressed it became one of the worst experiences of my entire life at a downtown restaurant. First off the food that we got was horrible I could have made better food at home on my stove than they made for me. It was so bad I could not even eat more than two bites of my sandwich before my stomach turned and that was it. I tried to salvage the night by asking our waiter for the pool balls to play a game of pool. I was told if i wanted to play they needed my ID to make sure that I did not walk off with the balls. I said fine and gave them my ID and took the balls to play pool. We went down to celebrate my wife’s birthday and after playing exactly ten minutes of pool my wife told me she wanted to head to traffic to go dancing. I said okay gathered up the balls and took them back to get my ID. When i gave the bartender The balls I asked for my ID and she acted like she did not even hear me and made me stand there for twenty minutes till she finally acknowledged me and as she handed me my ID she gave me a tab for thirty two dollars. I had already cashed out my original tab for what I ate and drank and tried to explain to the bartender this was not my tab and all I did was play ten minutes of pool. The bartender told me there’s nothing she can do I owe thirty two dollars. She said you are not getting over on me. I tried to explain this was all a misunderstanding and that is when the manager was called over. The manager staggered over to me and explained a beer rep had come in earlier and bought them all some drinks and they were drunk and he will straighten out the matter. By this time a half hour had gone by and finally they said they made a mistake and gave me a bill for 20 for the hour of pool I played and I said I only played for ten minutes. Finally after arguing for another ten minutes I was given my ID and told to just leave. I told them I will pay for the time I played and they said no just leave you are ruining my buzz. This was told to me by the manager. So to make a long story short do not waste your money on this establishment. Any place that allows there entire staff to get drunk on the clock and tries to over charge you is not worth it. I recommend 4quarter alley this place is clean good staff and a lot of fun. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL cleveland 3/31/2007 Tasty Mexican Food Even though House of Cues/Luchitas parted ways awhile ago they've still got a Mexican section on their menu and still have one of the same chefs. You've got to try their House of Cues burrito or their Chimichunga. Their small sizes are enough for a big adult meal. Definitely the best mexican (maybe the only mexican) downtown!
