Horrible PLace

I've been to Cleats in Westlake twice now but that's about two times too many. The first time I went the restaurant had just opened and I realize there are always opening day problems and the staff may not have been properly trained yet, but our server was just ridiculous. My friend and I mentioned we wanted to try as many different types of wings as possible. Instead of telling us to try a sampler platter she let us order 8 different types spending and insane amount of money. She never refilled our drinks, never acknowledged us and pretty much acted like we were wasting her time. To top it off she never gave us the bill. After waiting around (at a dirty table because she never cleaned anything off) for over a half hour (and some of that waiting was spent watching her flirting in the open kitchen) I finally flagged her down. By flagging down I mean politely interuppting her as she flirted. I really believe to this day she would have made us wait forever if I hadn't intervened. It was almost a couple years later when my boyfriend and I were starving and decided to simply get takeout from there. We ordered quesadillas. That was it. The place was empty. We waited over 45 minutes for it. I asked the bar tender if our food was coming and received a nasty, "It's not done yet." Finally I went to the manager. Turns out the food was ready and was in fact on the counter behind her. She just didn't see it because she was flirting with some old guy at the bar. I think I would only go back to Cleats if they retrained their servers to see the difference between flirting and being a good server or if they fired everyone and hired gay people.
