I have been to the Blue Snapper many times before and was never really impressed but enjoyed the outside patio. It was my niece's 30th birthday and also a remembrance of my son that passed 2 years ago. I called to make reservations for the patio, because I had about 30-40 people coming for both events. On the day of the get together 2 hours before they called and said they couldn't take reservation which I made several days in advance, needless to say this was very disappointing, the mgr said they should not have taken in and no would would admit who did it, well I wrote the person's name down and gave it to them. In the end they saved 2 tables for me. Upon guest arriving the server could not handle different people with different credit cards and they said people were table hopping?? We were moving around to talk not skipping out. The manage came over and really couldn't explain why people couldnpt pay with their own credit cards except to say well we expect to get busy!! Hello we already had 20 people there that were eating and drinking. We told her then we would all sit at different tables so not to confuse them and she wouldn't have that either and she said she would get out bills and we could cash out. What business would want people to leave that are eating and drinking?? Very rude manager. Most of the people go there on a weekly basis but will not go back again. We will also have this event somewhere else the next time. They wanted to be selected the best patio in cleveland from one of the radio stations but they first need to learn what customer service is all about. This restaurant is only busy during the summer months, so wouldn't you want to keep the business you have instead of trying to chase it away because your employee's can't handle mutiple transactions!!! Never again. berea, oh 6/12/2011 Timely Lunch My husband & I were traveling from out of town & wanted to get a bite to eat. We saw this place & thought "let's try it". We walked right in & were seated promptly. We were there at 3:00-ish, so it was the off-time. We had great service, great food & we LOVED the atmosphere. We'll definitely try it again when in the area. Diane Craig from Hughestown, PA 3/2/2010 Will Not Return Poor Service, slow service, no managerment to inform of our troubles. Overchanged on meals/drinks and problem was not corrected, items left off of multiple dishes. I can't imagine this place surviving very long if they keep this type of service up. Too bad! north royalton 5/1/2009 Won't Be Back We went to Blue Snapper a couple of weeks ago and had to write a review to let others know of our experience. We had been there previously and found the food to be decent (nothing to write home about and kind of pricey) and had absolutely wonderful service (I think the waitress' name was Savannah). This left me unprepared for the latest experience. I should have been forewarned after arriving at the restaurant to find no employees ANYWHERE! Nobody at the hostess desk, bar, dining room, waitress station. After walking around trying to find somebody, we waited about 5 more minutes before somebody finally came out of the back room. Long story short, given the overpriced, mediocre food and poor service (wish we had had Savannah again!), we won't be back. Too bad as this could be a nice place with proper management and marketing. I was hoping to have found a new summer hotspot but instead found another dud. Berea 4/28/2009 EXCELLANTr I enjoyed the service and the food was excellant. I have recommended your restaurant to several people. I would like to take my grandkids so they can see your wall aquarium. Ravenna 4/6/2009 Good food & service First time there friday night, server michelle suggested lobster bisque, and snapper both were good, and service was good. everything came out in a timely matter.we had a grasshopper mint cheesecake for dessert. thank you for such a nice dinner and pleasant server. cleveland 3/14/2009 I'll Never Go Back Blue Snapper was extremely disappointing. I got there early, FINALLY got water, but my 3 friends who arrived had to beg TWO servers for some. We waited forever to place our order. Folks in the next booth who came AFTER all of us had their food promptly but we were told they were out of some of what we ordered and we waited, waited, waited, asking servers where our food was, and getting promises but no results. We were on our lunch hour and barely had any time to eat our food once it arrived. The portions were skimpy, prices high for lunch. NEVER AGAIN.
