A mexican dining venue that is a national chain. Located on the east side off of Interstate 271 near the Chagrin Highlands area. Known for their spicy salsa.
I go to Abeulas in Dayton when I am there and my husband and I go to the Warrenville Hts when either of us has an appt near there. We love the food!! The best! Anonymous 1/28/2011 I keep coming back! I love Abuelos....from the ambiance to the columns the atomsphere and especially the food. As soon as you walk in you feel like your transported to another place. The Steak Banderilla is a must! The food is delicious, the service is good and the art work is lovely! When you go look up towards the ceiling...it reminds you of the artwork from The Vatican. You'll love it! Rachel Rawles from Shaker Heights 6/2/2007 Fantastic Abuelo's! We had an early New Year's Eve dinner at Abuelo's. We've been there before and consider it one of our favorite eateries. If you're in the mood for a margarita, try the Platinum Margarita. Made with fresh squeezed, sweetened lime juice. I had the Monterrey platter which contained four of the best enchiladas I've ever eaten. Everything was fresh and hot. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient! I can't wait to go back. As a matter of fact, I had a $50 gift certificate, but we decided to hold on to it so we'd have incentive to go back soon. Enjoy! Thompson 12/31/2006 A pleasant experience I had lunch here with a friend. We both found the food good - would recommend the Pasta La Paz - and the service friendly and timely. There was enough food leftover to take home for dinner. My husband liked the leftovers too. Newbury 10/31/2006 Muy bien. Abuelo's is an excellent retaurant for people seeking authentic mexican food. The service was so-so at best and the food was nothing to write home about. I don't think we will try it again, but you never know.
