We've eaten at "A Better Place" several times when we came up for the Champ Car race. Not only was it conveniently located near our hotel, the food was fantastic and the service was most friendly and excellent. They treated us beautifully when we returned each night....just like we were neighbors/friends! One night, I had a most excellent salmon and the next, a breaded tilapia with a mango sauce which was to DIE FOR! I passed on my compliments to the chef and she came out later to chat with us. I hope Cleveland Grand Prix returns to Cleveland so we'll be able to visit this wonderful place. True, the decor isn't much but the food is heavenly! Lisa G from Cleveland 12/6/2007 Better Service I went to have a drink after work with some out of town guests that wanted to try something different. I took them to A Better Place. First of all, the bar maid was very unfriendly. I've never met a bar maid who didn't smile. She never once came to check on me and my friends. We wanted to order food, but like I said, we were never asked. You never know who's who and my freinds are all from Miami and they will never come to your place again. Customer service is the key.
